“I have been participating in Traci’s Bootcamp in San Bruno for 4 years. I had been a gym member for a few years prior and found I was bored, using the same machines, going to the same classes, not interacting with people, just watching the clock. I needed something different and more exciting. When I started Traci’s Bootcamp I didn’t know what to expect. At that time, I couldn’t even do 3 pushups. Today, I can do several regular pushups and “spiderman” pushups. The variety Traci presents at each class is challenging and rewarding. Don’t worry if you have to modify an exercise,Traci encourages it. She doesn’t want to hurt you, she wants to help you. Another positive aspect is the group environment. Everyone is so encouraging and friendly.  I have definitely noticed a difference in my body and so has my husband. I am stronger, I have more energy, and I feel more confident. “Before I started Traci’s bootcamp I was experiencing a lot of back pain when lying down or sitting. I was feeling “my age” yet still working out on my own at a gym, maintaining a level of fitness but not improving. The last straw was when I had to change the sheets on the top bunk of my daughter’s bunk bed. It was a chore and again, I was feeling old, achy and not very strong! Traci is more than a personal trainer, she is a fitness partner. She knows how to keep the whole person in mind and to strike a balance between pushing you to do your best without making you feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or incompetent. Traci is wonderfully creative in her approach to each and every session — no two work-outs are the same! This helps greatly with injury prevention and also with preventing burn out or boredom with exercise routines. She is also adaptive to your individual physical and life needs at the time, sensing when to push and when it is a good day to just stretch. Importantly, she has a charming and caring personality, so she is easy to be with on a regular basis and she makes you feel comfortable to share honestly with her about your physical needs and goals. I have been working out with her 3 times per week for 5 years now. I have never before maintained a regular exercise program for this continuous length of time, and Traci is the reason for it!
